Application
AAP-SOL 15 serves as water wetting agents, demulsifiers, and interfacial tension reducers. The contacted organic films are left water-wet help to eliminate emulsions and particle plugging. It is a multifunctional nonionic agent that is soluble in oil, fresh water and brines. AAP-SOL15 penetrates deeper into the formation than surfactants and are used to increase miscibility by decreasing surface or interfacial tension. It is more effective than most surface-active agents in water wetting, preventing emulsions and minimizing particle plugging. Additionally, it can dissolve oil on the formation pore surfaces and fines, leaving them water wet. Formation fines that are water wet have a lower tendency to stabilize.
